Welcome to Northwood School Primary Transition Information Page 2025
We recognise that the transition from Year 6 to 7 can involve big changes, but we aim to help you and your child to prepare for secondary school and make the transition from primary school as smooth as possible.
This year Transition Day for our new students and our Parent Transition Evening will be held on Tuesday 1st July. In the meantime, our staff will also be visiting our new students at their primary schools to get to know them. As part of the transition, we will also be posting online resources to ensure you get the chance to know more about Northwood School and the exciting future ahead! All transition information and documentation will be posted on our website and to you directly via email in the coming weeks.
We will also be hosting a Summer School at the start of the summer holidays on Wednesday 23rd, Thursday 24th & Friday 25th July. All information to follow in due course.
We have the highest aspirations for every one of our students and are here to support, stretch, challenge and nurture your child to help them achieve their full potential. We are proud of our learning community and our standards are high – we are sure this is the reason why you and your child have chosen Northwood School.
