What do we do?
Governors work with the Leadership Group at the school to promote continuous improvement in the education provided for all the children attending our school. We work together to make decisions on the overall direction of the school and set policies, targets, and development plans. We also decide how to make the best use of the school budget for the benefit of the children’s education. As governors we work as a team, deciding on things jointly and sharing responsibilities for the decisions we make.
Who are the governors?
Our membership is made up of parents, staff, and members of the local community.
Currently no governors have declared any Pecuniary or Business Interests within the school.

At Northwood, the full Governing Body meets once every half term. Because of the complexity of a school, much of the detailed work is organised through its Resources and Curriculum committees.
